Sue Wong

Sue Wong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sue began their career as a Research Assistant at the Center for Neural Decision Making in 2011. Sue then worked as a Freelancer at LEAD Consultancy and as a Marketing Intern at Harrisburg Amani in 2012. Sue gained further experience as a Business Leadership Intern at Neiman and Specialist at Apple in the same year.

In 2013, Sue worked as an Account Manager at Lighthouse Independent Media and as a Product Marketing professional at Samsung Malaysia Electronics. Sue then joined FrogAsia in 2015 as a Product Team Lead before moving on to SEEK in 2017. At SEEK, they served as a Product Manager, focusing on driving product vision, roadmap, and strategic projects in the job marketplace portfolios.

Sue's next significant role was as a Product Owner at Maxis Business from 2019 to 2022, where they managed the channel and contributed to achieving company objectives. Sue then took on the position of Virtual Lead at Maxis, where they focused on driving digital web discovery and leading end-to-end delivery of Go-To-Market initiatives for Maxis Consumer and Hotlink channels. Currently, Sue is serving as the Head of Web Management at Maxis, leading the web team and driving digital discovery and engagement across Maxis, Maxis Business, and Hotlink websites.

Sue Wong obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Messiah University between 2009 and 2012. Sue also pursued studies in International Management & Leadership and Philosophy of Logic at Oxford University - Christ Church for one year in 2011. Additionally, Sue attended Temple University in 2010-2011 for further studies in Marketing. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Marketing at Taylor's University from 2007 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Sue has obtained the Professional Scrum Master I and Professional Scrum Product Owner II certifications from Scrum.org in 2022 and 2020 respectively. In 2021, they obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification from the Project Management Institute. Sue also holds the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org and the Agile Scrum Foundation certification from EXIN, both obtained in 2020.
