Ioannis Spyropoulos

Ioannis Spyropoulos has extensive work experience in the field of communications systems engineering. Ioannis started their career in 1999 as a Summer Technical Intern at British Telecom Adastral Park, where they experimented with different topologies for PPP dial-up access. In 2000, they worked as a Research Associate at the National Technical University of Athens. The following year, they were a Summer Technical Intern at Luminous Networks. In 2002, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University and a Summer Technical Intern at ATMEL Berkeley Design Center. Ioannis then joined the University of California at San Diego as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on interference management in wireless networks. Since 2009, they have been working at MaxLinear, starting as a Senior Staff Communication Systems Engineer and currently holds the position of Principal Communications Systems Engineer.

Ioannis Spyropoulos completed their Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC San Diego between 2002 and 2009.
