Gary Zimmerman

CEO at MaxMyInterest

Gary Zimmerman is the current CEO of MaxMyInterest. Prior to this, they were with Six Trees Ventures LLC, and before that, they were with MaxMyInterest.com and Six Trees Capital LLC. From July 2005 to June 2013, Zimmerman was with Citigroup Global Markets Inc., where they served as managing director and global head of strategic solutions for sovereign wealth funds. Gary advised many of the world's leading sovereign wealth funds in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia on M&A and direct investments globally, as well as corporate clients and financial sponsors on bespoke capital raising and restructuring transactions involving sovereign wealth funds and pension plans. Prior to Citigroup, Zimmerman was with SG Barr Devlin from June 2002 to June 2005 as vice president, advising on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring transactions in the energy and utilities industry (power generation, transmission, distribution, oil & gas pipelines, and coal mining). Gary began their career as an associate with Merrill Lynch & Co. from July 1999 to June 2002. In between Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, Zimmerman took a role as customer business development with Procter & Gamble from May 1997 to September 1997.

Gary Zimmerman has an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and has completed an Executive Education Program at The Wharton School.
