David Champion

David Champion is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the financial technology and psychedelic healthcare sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Hurricane Lotus, Inc. since May 2024, Champion leads a company focused on creating a secure financial ecosystem for the Behavioral Health Marketplace involving Psilocybin and Ibogaine service providers. As co-founder and CEO of Maya Health since January 2019, Champion has developed a psychedelic therapy intelligence platform aimed at enhancing patient trust and treatment efficacy. Additionally, Champion co-founded Unlimited Sciences, a nonprofit dedicated to researching psilocybin's healing and cognitive benefits. Previous roles include co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Baker Technologies and various co-founding positions in companies focusing on urban engagement and behavioral economics. Champion's academic background includes a 1st Class BA Honours in Architecture from the University of Cambridge.
