Jayson Sunga is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and systems integration. Currently serving as the Site Reliability Engineering Head for Maya and Maya Bank since January 2019, Jayson has successfully implemented SLI and SLO practices that enhanced service reliability and performance. Prior to this role, Jayson managed backend services at PayMaya Philippines, achieving rapid production readiness and optimizing deployment processes. Jayson also contributed to infrastructure efficiency at Smart Hub Inc. through virtualization and led key initiatives at Smart Communications, Inc., including the development of the Philippines' first electronic load system. Jayson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from AMA Computer University.
