Blaise Dias

Blaise Dias has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering. Blaise began their career in 1995 as a Senior Software Engineer at Madge Networks, where they developed software for world class ATM Network adapters, and created one of the first HQL Certified drivers distributed with Memphis betas and Windows NT 5.0 CD. In 1997, they took on a Contract role at Virata, developing an ATM miniport for Windows (9X and NT5.0) for ATMLs Virata link series of ATM adapters. From 1998 to 2003, Blaise worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Insignia Solutions, creating detailed internal specifications for new product feature development, evaluating requirements and devising solutions, and liaising with product management, product development team and other interested product teams to develop a complete specification for the features. In 2003, they moved to Esmertec as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on a Java Virtual Machine for mobile phones, set top boxes and embedded systems. Blaise then moved to Tandberg - Cisco in 2009 as a Software Engineer, where they created detailed internal specifications for new product feature development. In 2015, they joined Myriad Group AG as a Senior Software Engineer, where they added a wide range of J8SE features to a CDC class JVM. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Contract Software Engineer at NDS - Cisco. Most recently, Blaise has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at DataCore Software UK since 2019.

Blaise Dias has a diverse educational background. Blaise began their studies in 1993 at Birkbeck, University of London, where they earned an MSc. in Computer Science. Prior to that, they obtained a HSC from St. Xavier's College in the field of Science. Blaise also holds a B.E. from the Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology in Electronics, as well as a Diploma from St. Xaviers Technical Institue in Electronics and Radio Engineering.
