Chris Ostermann

Chris Ostermann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Chris started their career at Cazenove, where they served as an Administrator in Settlements from May 2004 to April 2006, and later worked as an Account Management Analyst in the Equities Support Team from May 2006 to February 2008.

Afterwards, Chris joined Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd, where they held the position of Associate Director in Pan-Asian Equity Sales from March 2008 to March 2014. Chris then became the Director of Pan-Asian/ESG Equity Sales from April 2014 to October 2016.

Following their time at Daiwa, Chris joined Maybank Investment Banking Group as the Director of Asian & Frontier Equity Sales in October 2016. Chris later assumed the role of Head of Institutional Equities Sales in London in March 2019, where they achieved quality income growth and profitability despite challenging market conditions.

More recently, Chris joined Immetric in November 2022, serving as a member of the Immetric 2023 Fund Advisory Board.

Chris Ostermann completed their education at the University of Reading from 2000 to 2003, obtaining a 2:1 degree in Politics and International Relations. Before that, they attended Cranbrook–Kingswood School in Michigan, USA from 1999 to 2000 under a Scholarship Programme. From 1994 to 1999, they studied at Cranbrook Grammar School.
