Maybelle Center for Community
Michelle Meyer currently serves as the Executive Director and previously held the position of Director of Development and Communications at the Maybelle Center for Community since April 2018. With over two decades of experience in development and communications roles, Michelle has also worked as the Director of Development at Caldera from 2011 to December 2017 and served as Development Director at SOLVE from 2001 to 2011. Prior experience includes positions at the Portland Art Museum as Corporate Giving Manager, Safeway as Promotion and Sponsorship Manager, and Ravinia Festival as Assistant Director of Corporate Major Gifts. Michelle began their career as a Manager at Artsmarketing Services Inc. from 1991 to 1994. The educational background includes a BA in Germanic Language & Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and studies at Phillips University in Marburg, Germany.
