Emma Alcock has extensive experience in communications, engagement, and internal communications. Emma currently works as the Global Head of Communications & Engagement at MAYBORN GROUP LIMITED. Emma previously worked as a Charity Trustee at NEYDL and as an Employee Engagement & Internal Communications Consultant at The Nutmeg Agency. Emma also has experience as an Interim Head of Internal Communications at Northgate plc and as an HR Lead for Organisation Development at Newcastle City Council. Prior to that, they held various roles at Sage, including Head of Strategy Programmes and Head of/ Director of Corporate Communications. Emma began their career as an Account Manager at Persuasion PR and as an Account Executive at Bergmans PR.

Emma Alcock completed their education in two different institutions. Emma obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Internal Communications Management from Kingston University from the year 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Durham University from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a BCS Hons in Biological Sciences. Additionally, Emma has acquired several certifications including "Inclusive Leadership" from LinkedIn in May 2022, "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program" from LinkedIn in July 2020, and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in July 2020.
