Byron McRae

Byron McRae is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the design and analysis of pressure vessels and related equipment. Currently serving as a Product Engineer for MAYEKAWA USA INC since November 2022, McRae focuses on oil separators, heat exchangers, and other pressure-containing systems. Prior to this role, McRae worked for SOFEC, Inc. for nearly 14 years as a Design Engineer, gaining expertise in product development for rotational equipment, pressure vessels, structural components, and lifting gear, while also specializing in research, design, and testing of thermoplastic and elastic seals. McRae holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler.
