Edmund Parker has extensive experience in the legal field, specifically in derivatives, structured products, and capital markets. Edmund began their career at Clifford Chance LLP, where they trained and qualified into the Finance 50L team, specializing in derivatives, banking, capital markets, and structured products. Edmund then joined Sidley Austin, where they served as an Associate in the same field and was seconded to the Morgan Stanley Debt Capital Markets Desk. Edmund later moved to Gide Loyrette Nouel, where they opened a London office and focused on derivatives and structured finance. In 2007, they joined Mayer Brown, initially founding and leading their Derivatives & Structured Products practice in the UK. Edmund later became the Global Co-head and eventually the Global Head of the practice. During their time at Mayer Brown, they also served as the London Office Head of Banking & Finance and was a member of the Firm's Partnership Board. Throughout their career, Edmund has acted for top financial institutions, hedge funds, and corporates in various complex matters in the derivatives and structured products space.

Edmund Parker received their education from various institutions. Edmund completed an LLM degree in Law at Queen Mary University of London from 1994 to 1995. Following that, they pursued their LPC and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The University of Law between 1995 and 1996. Before that, they obtained their LLB (Hons) 2.1 in Law from the University of Dundee from 1990 to 1994. In terms of secondary education, they attended Strathallan School from 1985 to 1989. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Solicitor from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in 1999.
