Florin Guma

Florin Guma has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the IT industry. Florin is currently the Head of ICT at Mayer & Co Beschl?ge GmbH (MACO), starting in February 2023. Prior to their current position, they worked at W?stenrot Gruppe as Bereichsleiter Development Core from December 2020 to January 2023, and as Projektleiter/Business Analyst from May 2020 to December 2020. Before joining W?stenrot Gruppe, Florin was the Leiter-IT/CIO at Universit?t Salzburg from 2008 to 2020. Florin was responsible for designing and implementing effective information management strategies, developing budget and investment plans, and establishing an integrated IT architecture. Florin also served as the IT-Leiter at Fachhochschule Salzburg - University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2008, where they managed the IT architecture and analyzed technology needs of various departments. Prior to that, Florin worked as a Process Engineer at ruwido austria gmbh from 1993 to 1997.

Florin Guma obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project and Process Management from Salzburg Management and Business School from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they attended Fachhochschule Salzburg from 1996 to 2000, where they studied Telecommunication and Digital Engineering. Florin also received education at the Institute of Civil Engineering in Bucharest, Romania from 1987 to 1990, focusing on Hoch- und Tiefbau (Civil Engineering).

In terms of certifications, Florin Guma completed the CIO Academy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2015. In the same year, they also obtained a Leadership Competence certification from Malik Management Zentrum St. Gallen. Additionally, in September 2007, Florin received a certification in Management and Leadership from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
