Waqqas Ahmad

Waqqas Ahmad is a seasoned private equity professional, currently serving as a Partner at Mayfair Equity Partners LLP since January 2015, focusing on growth capital investments and buyouts in the TMT and Consumer sectors. Previously, Waqqas held the position of Investment Director at LDC from October 2008 to November 2014, specializing in private equity investments in the Technology, Media, and Telecoms sectors, with notable investments including Avelo and Easynet Global Services. Waqqas has also held non-executive director roles at various companies, including Imagine Nation B.V., Twofour Group, and Blue Rubicon, and worked at KPMG UK as an Associate Director in Private Equity from October 2000 to September 2008. Waqqas holds an FCA designation from ICAEW and a BSc in Finance from the University of Southampton.
