Derek Buell has extensive experience in various roles focusing on education, labor, and coaching. Currently serving as a Special Needs Assistant at Mayfield Middle School since August 2017 and as a Job Trainer at CEVEC since March 2015, Derek has developed skills in supporting students and training individuals for employment. Previous roles include working as a Union Worker at Mr. Excavator, a Public Contact Representative for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and a painter with 5 Star Painting. Derek also has a background in athletics, having coached both freshman football and junior varsity baseball at Mayfield High School, while engaging in service work for the City of Mayfield Heights. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from John Carroll University and prior studies at the University of Mount Union and West Liberty University.
