Martha Headworth

Martha Headworth, MS, is an experienced medical illustrator with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving at Mayfield Brain & Spine since February 1999, Martha is part of a collaborative Communications team focused on creating medical illustrations for neuroscience publications and patient education materials. In addition to this role, Martha has worked at Glia Media since August 2013, where responsibilities include developing medical and scientific illustrations within a full-service marketing and design framework. Prior experience includes a position at the University of Kentucky from September 1997 to January 1999, where Martha created medical illustrations and graphic designs for academic and marketing purposes. Martha holds a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scientific Illustration from The University of Georgia.
