David Rutledge Ed.d.

David Rutledge, Ed.D. has a strong background in education administration. David most recently served as the Director of Support Services at Mayflower School District since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Apptegy as the Director of Education Relations from October 2019 to August 2022. David also held the position of Superintendent at Riverview School District from July 2015 to August 2019. Before becoming a superintendent, they worked as an Assistant Superintendent at Trumann School District from July 2011 to June 2015. David started their career in education as a High School Principal at Jackson County School District, where they served from July 2008 to July 2011.

David Rutledge, Ed.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) with a focus on Social Science from Arkansas State University, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued a higher level of education and earned an Educational Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership from the same institution, a period spanning from 2004 to 2013. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Arkansas State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2017.
