Gary Kennedy

Gary Kennedy has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Gary most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mayku since November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Financial Controller at ZUMA ARRAY LIMITED from July 2020 to July 2022, where they managed financial, legal, and HR functions.

Gary also worked as the Interim Finance Director at Echo from October 2019 to June 2020 and as the Group Finance Director at Fnatic Ltd from August 2016 to August 2019. Gary has held financial controller positions at JUST EAT, Cognolink Limited, FremantleMedia Ltd, Verifone UK Ltd, Activision Blizzard UK Ltd, and Carphone Warehouse Plc.

Throughout their career, Gary has achieved significant milestones such as securing external funding, managing matched funding applications, and obtaining R&D tax credits. Gary has demonstrated expertise in financial management, forecasting, statutory reporting, and equity-related matters.

Gary Kennedy attended Dame Allan’s Boys’ School from 1980 to 1987, where they obtained 9 GCE ‘O’-Levels and 4 ‘A’-Levels. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of Manchester, which they completed from 1988 to 1992. In terms of certifications, Gary earned the title of CIMA Qualified in 2002 and became a member of CIMA in 2004.
