Leighton Lord

Leighton Lord has a diverse work experience in the legal industry. Leighton served as the President & Chief Strategy Officer at Maynard Nexsen PC since 1993. In 2011, they became the Board Chair at Nexsen Pruet, overseeing client services for nine offices across the Southeast. Leighton Lord was also a Member at Nexsen Pruet, where they specialized in Real Estate Law, Distressed Property and Workouts, Land Use and Zoning, Corporate Law, and Economic Development. Leighton led various negotiations and teams for the siting of manufacturing facilities and a commercial aircraft manufacturing facility. In 2013, Leighton Lord became the Managing Director at NP Strategy, a subsidiary of Maynard Nexsen, focusing on community assessments, crisis management, media relations, event management, and digital media services.

Leighton Lord completed their Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.) from the University of Delaware in 1986. Leighton then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, graduating in 1989.
