Byron Johnson

Byron Johnson is a Global Logistics Specialist at Mayo Clinic Laboratories, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Import Export Coordinator at KUKA North America from September 2019 to August 2021, where responsibilities included liaising with project management and shipping/receiving, optimizing shipments, and acting as a subject matter expert on documentation and customs paperwork. Prior to KUKA, Byron worked as a Lead Ocean Export Agent at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics from February 2012 to September 2019, leading a team focused on exports to the Middle East, Brazil, and select APAC countries. Byron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker College (2019-2021) and has additional education from Baker College (2012-2016) and the University of Detroit Mercy (2008-2009). Certifications include IATA/IMDG and IMO/DG.
