Amanda Holloway possesses extensive experience in environmental sustainability, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Sustainability at Mayo Clinic since January 2001. In this role, Amanda develops and integrates a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with the organization’s mission. Previously, Amanda held various positions within the Mayo Clinic, including Sustainability Project Leader, where a business plan for environmental sustainability was created, and Section Head of Facilities Operations for Waste Management, Recycling, and Environmental Services, overseeing a team of approximately 710 full-time equivalents. Amanda also has experience as a Recycling Coordinator and began their career as an Environmental Associate at Dakota County and a Conservation Associate with the Student Conservation Association. Amanda Holloway holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
