Derick Jones has extensive experience in healthcare technology and medical informatics, currently serving as the Location Services Chair at Mayo Clinic since June 2015, where responsibilities include leading the implementation of real-time location services across multiple campuses. Previous roles at Mayo Clinic include Director of Data Science in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Department Medical Director, focusing on provider informatics governance and quality improvement. Derick Jones also completed an Applied Data Science certificate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, emphasizing machine learning and computer vision.
