James Rose

James Rose is a highly experienced Senior Engineer at Mayo Clinic, specializing in embedded software for wearable devices within the Special Purpose Processor Development Group since 2011. Prior to this role, James worked at IBM for nearly 18 years, where contributions included monetizing intellectual property and optimizing computer system performance. Earlier experience encompasses a Research Associate position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where James designed systems for atmospheric studies and taught advanced microprocessor labs. Additionally, James has held engineering roles at Astronautics Corporation of America and Control Process, focusing on CAD tools and computer-based control systems. James holds a PhD and multiple master's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University.
