Tom Nichols

Tom Nichols, MD, MBA, is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Centene Corporation since March 2022. With a career that includes a longstanding position as Pediatric Hospitalist at Mayo Clinic since January 2012, Nichols also held the role of Chief Medical Officer at Ascension from November 2018 to March 2022 and served as Regional Medical Director of Pediatric Hospitalist Services at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin from 2004 to December 2018. Additionally, Nichols co-chaired the American Academy of Pediatrics' Section on Community Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine from May 2016 to July 2018.
