Brian Hastings

Brian Hastings is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in managing and leading infrastructure projects. As a Senior Executive Engineer at Mayo County Council from November 2020 to July 2025, Brian oversaw projects through their planning, design, and construction phases. Prior roles included Executive Engineer, focusing on multiple road infrastructure and active travel initiatives, and Resident Engineer/Chartered Engineer on the N26 Cloongullane Realignment Project. Previous experience includes positions at Barry Transportation and Halcrow Barry Limited, where Brian contributed to road schemes and motorway projects.
