Chad Wick has been a CEO and president emeritus of commercial banks, large non-profit organizations, and a national foundation for the past 35 years. As founder and president emeritus of KnowledgeWorks, Chad was recognized by former Secretary of Education Richard Riley as one of America’s most important leaders in education. Chad built a major relationship with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and created the fastest growing high school network in the country, New Tech Network, with over 200 schools in 25 states. In his business career, Chad organized and led the private buyout of Southern Ohio Bank and the sale of Student Loan Funding Corp to SallieMae.
Chad received his BS degree from the University of Cincinnati and MBA with high honors from Thunderbird Graduate School. He served many years as president of the Mayerson Company, a diversified real estate and investment enterprise, and has served on numerous boards as a board member as well as president and CEO including: Ameritrust of Cincinnati, Southern Ohio Bank, Shawnee Life Insurance Co., RISE Learning Solutions and KnowledgeWorks. He is currently Chairman of the Board of ACT, Inc., one of the world’s largest student testing and assessment organizations.
Chad is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and has participated in the Army War College’s Strategic Leadership Forum at Columbia University. He has received honorary Doctorates from both the University of Cincinnati and Youngstown State University. Chad is an avid cyclist and has cycled across America.
