David George has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. David started their career at ICU Medical as a CNC Injection Mold Toolmaker, where they created injection molds and performed maintenance on existing molds. David then worked at Ocean Equipment as an R&D Vacuum Form Engineer, designing and building prototype ABS vacuum form tooling. After that, they moved to FEMCO Machine as a National Application Engineer, assisting customers and dealers in programming, set up, and operation of CNC machines. David joined Mazak Corporation as an Application Engineer, where they trained customers and provided turnkey solutions for advanced machine tools. Later, at DMG MORI USA, they worked as an Application Engineering Manager, conducting time studies, training, and managing customer relations. David also worked at Apple as a CNC Engineer, refining machining operations and designing fixturing. Most recently, David is employed at CencalCNC Inc as a Sales/Design Manufacturing Engineer, overseeing projects, training new hires, and creating cost quotations and engineering drawings. Currently, they are working at Mazak North America as an Application Engineer.
David George, CMTSE, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from California State University Stanislaus in 1998. Prior to that, they completed a 4-year apprenticeship in CNC Machining and Mold Making at Fontana High Machine Technology in 1994. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer (CMTSE) certification from AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology in October 2022. David also holds certifications in Advanced Measuring Techniques, Blueprint Interpretation, and Advanced Metrology, obtained from Mitutoyo America Corporation in 2002.
