Colum Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Colum started their career at KPMG Ireland as an Auditor and worked there for five years. Colum then joined Ulster Bank where they held various managerial positions in Decision Support, Corporate Banking, Finance Incident Management, and Corporate Markets Customer Resources. In 2016, they joined Accenture as a Management Consultant Manager, specializing in Finance & Risk for Financial Services clients. Currently, they are the Director of Decision Support & Financial Modelling at Mazars in Ireland, where they provide professional services including audit, consulting, tax, and financial advisory.
Colum Kelly's education history includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accountancy from University College Dublin, completed from 1995 to 1998. Colum also holds an ACA (Accounting / Auditing / Tax / Management Accounting / MIS) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, obtained from 1999 to 2002. In addition, they received a Master of Business Studies degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Smurfit Business School - UCD in 1999. Colum further pursued certifications in various fields, including a Registered Representative in Stockbroking from the Institute of Bankers Ireland in 2004 and a Certifcate in Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) from Oracle University in 2011. Lastly, they completed a program on QFA - Banking at the Institute of Bankers Ireland from 2007 to 2008.
