Claire Abrahamse

Claire Abrahamse is a seasoned professional in Quality and Risk Management, currently serving as a Partner at Forvis Mazars in South Africa since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing independence, ethics, and risk at a firm-wide level. With a strong background in auditing and training, Claire has held various leadership roles including Senior Manager – Quality & Risk Management, Audit Quality and Training Manager, and Key User of Mazars Global Audit Platform. Prior to their tenure at Forvis Mazars, Claire worked at Nexia SAB&T in multiple managerial roles focusing on audit and training, and started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Grant Thornton South Africa. Claire holds a CTA/Honours degree in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
