Mounir Messaoud

Mounir Messaoud has extensive work experience in the field of IT Assurance, Audit, and Advisory. Mounir currently holds the position of Head of IT Assurance and Advisory at Mazars in Sweden, where they have been working since November 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of IT Audit & Data Analytics Services at the same company from January 2023 to November 2023.

In addition to their role at Mazars, Mounir has held several leadership positions within professional organizations. Mounir served as the President of ISACA Sweden Chapter since April 2021 and is also a Board Member of the organization. From April 2020 to April 2021, they held the position of Head of Membership Committee.

Mounir has also been involved in various board positions, including Chairman of the Board of Directors at ELISSA INFINITY since July 2020 and Chairman of the Board at SIG Security from April 2013 to April 2017. Mounir also worked as an Information & Cyber Security Consultant at Transcendent Group from April 2014 to May 2015. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Nordea, including Senior Risk and Compliance Officer from April 2012 to March 2014 and Information & Cyber Security Specialist from January 2010 to March 2014. Mounir also worked as a Risk Manager - IT Security & Risk Management from November 2008 to December 2009 and was a part of the Nordea Graduate Programme from November 2008 to October 2009.

Furthermore, Mounir has been involved in the Board of Directors at Trygg-Hansa as a Board Member of Trygg-Hansa Research Trust since December 2021.

Mounir Messaoud obtained a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science and Information Security from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, completing the program from 2003 to 2008. Mounir has also earned several certifications, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
