Adam Reid

Senior Research Associate at Maze Therapeutics

Adam Reid has accumulated several years of work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Adam started their career as an intern at Bruker Daltonics in 2012, followed by internships at Infinity Pharmaceuticals in 2013 and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in 2014.

In 2015, Adam worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Dr. Thomas Lectka's Lab at Johns Hopkins University. During this time, they gained valuable experience in research and laboratory techniques.

Adam then joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Summer Scholar in 2016, where they developed and executed synthetic routes for analogues of a therapeutic small molecule. Adam presented their findings at a site-wide poster session.

Adam continued their journey at NIBR in 2017 as a Medicinal Chemistry Intern, focusing on designing and synthesizing a library of small molecule analogues for structure-activity relationship studies.

After NIBR, Adam joined DiCE Molecules as a Research Associate in 2018, where they worked until 2019. Finally, they joined Maze Therapeutics in 2020 as a Research Associate II.

Adam Reid attended The Rivers School from 2009 to 2013. Adam then went on to study Chemistry at The Johns Hopkins University from 2013 to 2017.
