Dan Santos

Dan Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Dan is currently working as a Scientist II at Maze Therapeutics since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at UNITY Biotechnology as a Scientist from June 2019 to September 2020. Before joining UNITY Biotechnology, Dan was a Graduate Student at the University of California, San Francisco from September 2013 to June 2019, where they worked in the Weissman Lab. Their earlier experience includes working as an Associate Scientist/Group Leader at Sapphire Energy from July 2008 to August 2013, where they played a key role in a research collaboration and implemented a gene silencing platform. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate II at Favrille, Inc from January 2005 to June 2008.

Dan Santos received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA between 2000 and 2004. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Francisco from 2013 to 2019.
