Richa Sarwaikar started their work experience in 2016 as a Manufacturing Associate at Twist Bioscience, where they were responsible for manufacturing and producing synthetic genes using various cellular and molecular processes. Richa also analyzed data, troubleshooted operational and production issues, and tracked manufacturing processes in real-time using batch records.
In 2017, they joined Assembly Biosciences, Inc. as a Research Associate, where they worked until 2020.
In 2020, Richa joined UNITY Biotechnology as a Senior Research Associate, but their role ended in November of the same year. Later in 2020, they joined Maze Therapeutics, initially as a Senior Research Associate and then progressed to the role of Senior Research Associate II.
Richa Sarwaikar began their education in 2007 at Devi Ahilya Institute Of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. Richa completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.
In 2010, Richa enrolled at Vellore Institute of Technology to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Genetics. Richa completed their postgraduate studies in 2012.
During their academic years, Richa gained additional certifications and training. In April 2010, they completed an Observation Training on Microbiology and Chemical Lab at Ruchi Soya Industries Limited. In June 2011, they received training in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the Defence Research Development Establishment (DRDE). Additionally, in February 2011, they participated in the 36th Annual Conference of Environmental Mutagen Society of India (EMSI) and International Symposium on Environmental Exposures to Mutagens and Carcinogens on Human Health. In April 2011, they attended the 2nd International Conference on Science, Engineering, and Technology at Vellore Institute Of Technology.
