Henry Black

Henry is a Full Stack Engineer on the team at Maze. He has a broad range of experience that helped prepare him for his role at Maze.

“I helped build two fintech startups from the ground up, worked in Open Source and in a past life worked as an Investment Consultant which got me interested in data.”

One of Henry’s personal values is to try to get things out there and test them as soon as possible. During the pandemic, it’s been more difficult for Henry to have the same boundaries between personal and professional, but he tries to create some separation by getting a decent amount of time away from his computer.

Henry also loves getting out into the countryside for walks with his wife and their dog Mango. When asked about something that would surprise people about him, Henry said, “I am missing a finger!”.
