Amirreza Amighi, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Amirreza is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Mazlite Inc., where they are leading a talented team to develop a platform to transform the spray industry, focusing on improving processes, increasing efficiency, and reducing energy consumption and emissions.

Prior to their current role, Amirreza worked as a Mechanical/Thermal/Optical Engineer and PhD Researcher at the University of Toronto. During their seven years there, they collaborated with a multi-disciplinary research team to design and build a high-pressure and high-temperature wind tunnel for simulating jet engine conditions. Amirreza also played a key role in the identification and implementation of equipment and infrastructure.

Amirreza also served as the Founder-Project Manager at Syndext Inc., a renewable energy provider. In this role, they brokered contracts for the installation of wind turbines and managed budgets for large-scale projects. Amirreza formed alliances with suppliers, subcontractors, and labor unions to reduce costs and ensure successful project execution.

At Stokast Inc., Amirreza worked as both a Product Development Manager and Senior Project Manager/Lead Engineer. Amirreza developed a vapor additive delivery system prototype for a Chinese corporation and adapted to the technical area and business culture. Amirreza also served as the single point of contact for Xerox Corporation, leading projects in computational fluid dynamics and developing innovative solutions.

Amirreza Amighi, PhD has a strong educational background in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Amirreza obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Toronto in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution between 2006 and 2008. Amirreza began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their academic degrees, Amirreza holds a Laser Safety Certificate obtained from the University of Toronto in October 2006.
