VP Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at Mazor Robotics

Inbal Azar is the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Mazor Robotics. Inbal has over 20 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs in the medical device industry.

Inbal started their career as a quality engineer at NetManage in 1997. Inbal then moved to UltraGuide, where they were the quality manager for three years. In 2001, they joined Aladdin Knowledge Systems as the quality manager.

In 2004, Inbal joined Medtronic as a V&V engineer. Inbal then moved to Mazor Robotics Ltd, a subsidiary of Medtronic, in 2006. Inbal was with Mazor Robotics for seven years, before joining GE Healthcare in 2013.

At GE Healthcare, Inbal served as the Senior Quality Site Lead for Mammo from April 2013 to January 2014. Inbal then became the Post Market Surveillance Lead for Nuclear Medicine from November 2006 to December 2013.

In 2016, Inbal returned to Mazor Robotics as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA). Inbal has been in this role for the past two years.

Inbal Azar completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, followed by an MSc. in Quality and Reliability also from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Inbal then went on to complete a BSc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the same school.

They are on a team with Sharon Levita - CFO & Vice President, Business Operations, Doron Dinstein - CMO, and Christopher Prentice - Chief Commercial Officer. Inbal Azar reports to Ori Hadomi, CEO.
