Julia Park

Julia Park started their work experience in 2015 as a Project Coordinator at University Health Network. In 2017, they moved on to FieldEdge where they worked as a Senior Data Conversion Specialist, handling multiple conversion projects and developing specialized tools using MS Excel, VBA, SQL, and Google Scripts. In 2020, they transitioned to working as a Software Engineer for Open Source Projects, where they developed various personal and open-source web applications. One of their notable projects was Gouda-Request, a tool for inspecting webhooks and HTTP requests. In 2022, Julia joined Firefly as a Co-creator & Software Engineer, where they prototyped and built the open-source observability framework using Node.js, OpenTelemetry, and Amazon Web Services. Currently, they are a Full Stack Software Developer at Truss, starting in 2023.

Julia Park earned a Bachelor's Degree in Honors Specialisation in Genetics from Western University between 2009 and 2014. Julia then pursued further education by enrolling in Launch School for the period of 2020 to 2022, completing the Core Curriculum.
