Rachel Beck has over 25 years of professional experience. Rachel began their career in 1993 as a National Business Columnist for The Associated Press. In 2011, they became a Managing Director and Senior Consultant for mbaMission, an admissions consulting firm focused on MBA applications. In the same year, they also began working as a Freelance Writer/Editor.

Rachel Beck has a comprehensive education history. Rachel began their studies at Pascack Valley High School before graduating in 1988 and attending Lehigh University, where they earned a BA in Government in 1992. Rachel then went on to Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, where they obtained an MS in Journalism in 1993. Finally, they completed an MBA in Management at Columbia Business School in 2002.
