Antavia F. Grimsley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance, public affairs, and military service. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief of the Office of Legislative, Education & Intergovernmental Affairs at the Minority Business Development Agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce, Antavia has held this position since August 2014. Additionally, Antavia founded and serves as CEO of M Harris Agency, LLC since February 2017. With a military background in the United States Army Reserves since January 2001, Antavia holds the rank of Master Sergeant, serving as the Director of Instruction and Senior Finance Instructor. Previous roles include financial analyst positions at DISYS and the United States Department of Defense, where responsibilities involved budget formulation and execution. Antavia's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from DeVry University and studies at both Georgetown University and Rutgers University.
