David Spooner

David Spooner has extensive experience in electronic engineering and project management, currently serving as the Electronic Engineering Sector Lead for Deep Strike and Long Range Missiles at MBDA since May 2019. In this role, David is accountable for the delivery of prime and test equipment for crucial missile programs such as StormShadow and FCASW. Prior to this, David held positions at Dragonmobility Ltd., and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, where responsibilities included managing engineering resources, overseeing training programs aligned with regulatory standards, and providing technical training on avionics systems. David’s career began in the Royal Air Force as an Avionics Technician, where skills were developed across multiple aircraft platforms.
