Matthias Brand

Matthias Brand currently serves as the Group Head of Future Quality and Transformation at MBDA Group, responsible for the Business Management System in Germany and leading the transition to a predictive quality model across the European MBDA Group. Additionally, Matthias Brand holds the position of Chairman (Industry) of the Quality Management Expert Group of the Federal Association of the German Security and Defense Industry e.V. and leads the Quality Management Working Group. Involvement extends to the German Society for Quality as a Trainer and Examiner for Process and Quality Management (EN 9100) and as a Personal Delegate. Educational qualifications include a Chemilaborant degree from Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung and a Graduate Engineer degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
