Raj Badiani

Raj Badiani serves as the Head of Software Engineering UK at MBDA since March 2012, providing executive leadership and accountability for software product delivery and capability development. Badiani has held multiple roles at MBDA, including Software Business Support & Performance and UK Proximity Manager, where responsibilities included enhancing international software engineering coherence and proposing strategic changes for value enhancement. In a prior position, Badiani managed Mission Planning & Control software development and directed an international management team. Before joining MBDA, Badiani worked at GE Aviation Systems Ltd as a Software Sub-Section Manager and led a team in developing military display systems while specializing in DO-178B standards. Beginning as a Junior Software Engineer at Eurocopter, Badiani holds a BSc and HND in Software Engineering from the University of Staffordshire.
