Russ Martin is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in military operations and technical advisory roles. Currently serving as the Head of Technical and Military Operations for Military Advisers at MBDA since September 2010, Martin has previously held key positions including Military Adviser and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Subject Matter Expert at the Royal Air Force from August 2007 to September 2010, and F/A-18 Instructor Pilot for the US Navy from June 2004 to August 2007. Martin's aviation career began in the Royal Air Force, where roles included Tornado F3 Instructor Pilot and frontline pilot. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor of Engineering with first honors in Aerospace from Kingston University.
