Thibault Roussel currently serves as Responsable de groupe Etudes amont at MBDA since March 2021. Prior to this role, Thibault held various positions at Safran Electronics & Defense from June 2015 to February 2021, including Responsable de lots Système, responsible for navigation algorithm design and validation, documentation drafting, and technical management of engineers and technicians on two projects, as well as pilotage of subcontractors. Thibault also worked as an Ingénieur Système de Navigation, focusing on algorithm design for aeronautical, terrestrial, and naval systems using MBD methods. Earlier experience includes an internship at Akka Technologies, where collaboration on the Link & Go 2 autonomous electric vehicle project took place, and internships at Bouygues Telecom and AXA. Thibault holds a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec, along with a strong academic background in mathematics and preparatory classes for engineering schools.
