Lawrence H. Aaronson

Lawrence H. Aaronson is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP and serves as Chair of the firm’s Telecommunications Practice Group. Mr. Aaronson’s practice has grown over the years to focus primarily on patent prosecution, with a strong emphasis on telecommunications and software technology including cellular wireless communications and computing systems. Clients appreciate Mr. Aaronson’s efficiency and skill in managing their respective patent portfolios. In particular, clients admire his attention to relevant detail and ability to communicate sensibly and productively with their engineers and other inventors. Recognizing the important strategic business value of patents, Mr. Aaronson seamlessly assists in-house counsel by interacting directly with inventors and helping to identify and secure protection of key inventions. As such, he can and often does function as an “outside in-house counsel.” Given his extensive patent prosecution experience, Mr. Aaronson also routinely trains less experienced attorneys at the firm.
