Nate B. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of web development. Nate started their career at iD Tech Camps, working as an Instructor & Counselor from June 2005 to August 2006. Nate then interned at GlaxoSmithKline as an Intranet Web Programmer for 8 months in 2007. After that, Nate served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer for HandyCapable Network, a computer refurbishing non-profit, from July 2008 to July 2009. Nate then worked as a Web Application Developer for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from January 2009 to June 2011, building customized PHP/MySQL web applications. From July 2011 to December 2013, Nate worked as a Web Developer at @properties. Nate then joined the Chicago Tribune Media Group as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2014 to April 2015, supporting ForSaleByOwner.com. Currently, Nate is working as the Lead Sr. Web Developer at Mbira Technologies, primarily using PHP 7, Symfony 4, MySQL, and JavaScript, and involved in improving order processing & financing software and developing high volume server-side APIs & client-side JavaScript libraries.
