Axel Limberger

Axel Limberger has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Axel'smost recent position was as the Chief of Operations (COO) at MBition since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Domains at MBition from November 2022 to April 2023. Before joining MBition, Limberger worked at Aptiv, where they held the roles of Engineering Director Europe & North America, Infotainment & Interior Sensing from March 2019 to October 2022, and Chief Engineer Software and Systems Germany, Infotainment from November 2017 to February 2019. Axel also served as the Head of R&D at Blaupunkt (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. from April 2014 to September 2017 and as the Head of Department Medical Solutions & Consulting Services at b1 Engineering Solutions from October 2012 to March 2014. Previous experience includes roles at Tieto as the Head of Business Unit Mobile Devices R&D Germany from January 2011 to September 2012, as the Head of Department Automotive and Industrial R&D from April 2008 to December 2010, and as a Senior Consultant Automotive from January 2007 to March 2008. Limberger started their career at DaimlerChrysler TSS GmbH as an IT Project Manager from April 2004 to December 2006 and at SOFLEX Fertigungssteuerungs-GmbH as a Software Engineer and Technical Project Manager from June 1997 to July 2002.

Axel Limberger obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business Management from Hochschule Furtwangen during the period of 2002 to 2003. Earlier, from 1992 to 1997, they earned a Dipl.-Inf. (FH) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, also from Hochschule Furtwangen. In addition to their educational qualifications, Axel Limberger is a certified PMP Project Manager, having obtained the certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2017.
