Jonathan Cheng

Jonathan Cheng has a significant background in the finance industry, with experience working in various roles at reputable companies. Jonathan started their career at SVPGlobal in 2008 as an Investment Analyst/Trader, responsible for overseeing regional offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Mumbai. Jonathan then moved on to Credit Suisse in 2003, where they held the position of Director until 2012. In 2012, they joined Taconic Capital Advisors as the Director of Asia Pacific/Head, where they played a crucial role in managing the portfolio and trading activities. Currently, Jonathan is employed at MBK Partners as the Managing Director & Head of Special Situations Trading and HK. In this role, they oversee portfolio management for MBKP Special Situations Funds I and II, as well as serves as a member of the SS Investment Committee.

Jonathan Cheng attended Island School for their secondary education.
