Rebecca Mathebula

Rebecca Mathebula is an experienced Grade Control Geologist at Mbuyelo Coal since February 2019, specializing in open cast thermal coal mining. Responsibilities include ensuring quality through effective Grade Control practices and managing contamination from pit to crushing and screening plant. Prior to this, Rebecca Mathebula served as a Geology Intern, where duties involved geological structure interpretation, pit inspections, report writing, highwall inspections, and support for stockpile management and exploration drilling projects. Academic credentials include a BSc Honours in Geology and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Johannesburg, alongside experience as a First Year Geology Practicals Demonstrator at the same institution.
