Elisa Fabbrini is an accomplished clinical development executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. As Vice President of Clinical Development at MBX Biosciences, Inc. since April 2024, Elisa leads innovative initiatives in clinical research. Prior to this role, Elisa served as Senior Director of Translational and Experimental Medicine at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine from April 2021 to April 2024 and held several significant positions within The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from March 2015 to March 2021, including Director of Clinical Development and Associate Director of Metabolism. Elisa began their career at Washington University School of Medicine from October 2005 to March 2015, where Elisa held the roles of Assistant Professor and Research Fellow. Educationally, Elisa obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Sapienza Università di Roma, completed a Residency and Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from Sapienza Università di Roma.
