Matthew King

Matthew King is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational development, human resources, and education. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Organizational Development at MBX Biosciences, Inc. since January 2024, Matthew previously held various roles at Albireo Pharma, Inc. from February 2020 to January 2024, including Learning, Development and HRIS Manager. Matthew's teaching career began at Red Cloud Indian School and continued at San Miguel High School and Boston College High School, focusing on supporting at-risk students and facilitating meaningful service experiences. Matthew earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion/Religious Studies from the College of the Holy Cross. Additional educational experience includes time at the University of St Andrews and Boston College High School.
